Two champs crowned, one retains, URCC 32 FURY – Battle of the Islands delivered to US fight fans!

Last Saturday night at the San Mateo Event Center, URCC made it’s return and delivered another ACTION-PACKED event as main event headliner, Ryan Dela Cruz of Hawaii Elite MMA and Nohelin “Suave” Hernandez of Team AKA traded blows from the opening round until the last round.

“Suave” edged out the former URCC Featherweight Title Contender, Fil-Am, Dela Cruz via decision to win the Interim URCC Featherweight World Title.

Therefore, having his second MMA title under his belt, at 23 years old. (His first title was when he was 19 years old)

Then, at the Co-Main Event, Brady Huang of Dragon House MMA captured the Interim URCC Bantamweight World Title against fellow striker, Ian Dela Cuesta in a dominant fashion. Huang is simply one of the exciting prospects in the URCC today that has an unblemished 6-0 Professional MMA Record. (Most wins are finishes)

Also at the main card is the amazing comeback of current URCC Lightweight Champion,  Fabrício Guerreiro as he ratained his URCC Lightweight World Title for the first time against very game challenger, Thomas “No Mas” Diagne of Team AKA(teammate of champ, Hernandez). Guerreiro had trouble early in the first two rounds due to the striking acumen of the title challenger, No Mas.

But, he went AGAINST all ODDS in the third round and scored a HUGE knockout against a very tough opponent that almost took his title away from him and securing his very first title defense, after winning it from Will “The Kill” Chope last URCC 29: Conquest.

All the bouts, starting from the prelims up to the main card, proved why we are the MOST EXCITING MMA promotion… NOT just in ASIA. But, the WHOLE WORLD.

Who’s next for the Champions?!?
